Progressive Manufacturing AwardSpring Lake, MI - May, 2010: Interior Concepts has been selected as a winner at the sixth annual Progressive Manufacturing 100 Awards. The Awards, organized by Managing Automation Media, a Thomas Publishing Company, LLC publication, recognize outstanding innovation. Having previously made the ranks of the Top 100 Progressive Manufacturers, Interior Concepts now enjoys additional recognition as the Progressive Manufacturer of the Year for Small Company.

Interior Concepts won for its use of ICE software and ICEvision, which resulted in quotation revisions 75% faster, improvements to engineering time by more than 500% and reductions in machine programming time for manufacturing by 200%. Interior Concepts notes that $500,000 can already be attributed to sales from presentations and the abilities of the new system.

Interior Concepts designs and manufactures educational furniture, call center furniture, and custom office furniture and adopted ICE solutions to create an interactive quoting and design program capable of presenting custom furniture products in an understandable way to clients. With ICE as its technology platform, Interior Concepts’ system automatically engineers the product, determines material needs, and generates paperwork and computer code to facilitate the manufacturing process. These factors improve quoting and presentation of projects, and reduce engineering time.
